I am an Anglican theologian lecturing at an Anglican Seminary in Zambia. I am doing a PhD research with The Protestant Theological University (PThU), The Netherlands. Through a qualitative empirical study of the Zambian Pentecostal church Bread of Life Church International (BLCI), the PhD research seeks to investigate the dynamics and complexities of the relationship between social capital and corruption. Embracing the Congregational Perspective, the link between trust, participation & membership in church congregations, erosion/bonding of social capital and corruption will be explored.
