Since 2003 I have been working as a research associate at the Department of History of Religions and Mission Studies in the Faculty of Theology, Heidelberg Germany.
This department has a permanent research focus on global Pentecostalism which is a main focus of my work next to my teaching commitments. I am supporting the coordination of GloPent and am one of the developers of this website.
For my dissertation I researched Pentecostalism in Ethiopia. The thesis was published in 2011 with Harrassowitz.
