André Gagné

I am a Full Professor and Chair of the Department of Theological Studies. I hold a conjoint Ph.D. from l’Université catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium) and l’Université de Montréal, as well as an M.A. and B.Th. from l’Université de Montréal. My research and teaching focus on Global Pentecostal and Charismatic movements, particularly their intersections with politics, society, and culture. My additional areas of interest include Christian political thought and the reception of the Bible. I am currently preparing a French-language introduction to Global Pentecostalism and conducting research on spiritual warfare and politics, as well as on New Prophetic churches and ministries.
