Carla Bertin

Contractual Phd student (first year), with a project entitled "Pentecostal Translations and Conversions to Power. Pentecostalism and Development in south-west Benin", focusing also on gender and intergenerational relations. I work in rural environments with local churches that also have religious NGOs, especially in the education sector (building of schools, religious teachings, etc.). I question the impact of pentecostal biopolitics on larger systems of economic and socio-political power.
