I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais’ (Brazil) Science of Religion Department. I hold a PhD (obtained in 2017) in History from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Over the years, I have researched the history of Protestantism and Pentecostalism in Brazil and the United States. More specifically on Pentecostalism, I’ve been developing research on the relationship between eschatological beliefs and political engagement in Brazilian Pentecostal denominations.
