My project focuses on the Charismatization and Pentecostalization processes within a main line church (the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria). It accounts for the changing face of Christianity in Nigeria and the ways in which such changes impact on church and indigenous communities' relationship. It argues that to neglect such processes will amount to a narrow understanding of contemporary Christianity in Africa.
