François Gauthier

I am professor in the sociology of religion at the Universität Freiburg in Switzerland. I am interested in global pentecostalism as one of the idéal-typical form of religion in modernity, and in particular in our current era, that I call the Global-Market Era (the other idéal-typical form being the New Age and spiritual-not-religious nebula).
