I studied Protestant Theology, German Language and Literature and American Studies at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and the University of Virginia, USA.
I was also teaching at the UVA, at Tellford College in Edinburgh, Scotland and at Yale University, CT, USA, where I also worked as Visiting Assistant in Research.
Since the end of 2004 I have been a Doctoral Candidate in the field of Theology/Religious Studies at the University of Heidelberg, where Prof. Bergunder is my advisor.
I also won a scholarship from the DFG at the Graduate Program on "Perception of Gender Difference in Religious Symbol Systems" affiliated with the University of Würzburg.
