I am a scholar of religion with interdisciplinary research and teaching interests in contemporary Christianity, international migration, and development. My regional areas of interest are sub-Saharan Africa and the African diaspora in Canada. After completing my BA degree in Sociology and Religions at the University of Ghana, I pursued two master’s degrees in Theology and Religious Studies respectively at the University of Oslo, Norway, and at Queen’s University. I recently completed my PhD degree in Cultural Studies at Queen's University, with specialization in African migration and Christianity in Canada. I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Department for the Study of Religion at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Canada.
