PhD - VU - Amsterdam. My project focus on Brazilian contextual Christology. As part of my research I argue that Neo-Pentecostalism, especially Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus, presents a re-reading of Afro-Brazilian religions. I compare its Christology to African Pentecostal Christologies and the doctrine of Christus Victor.
