Leonardo Marcondes Alves, PhD

Leonardo Marcondes Alves is a multidisciplinary researcher and staff member at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), Brazil, where he serves on the editorial team of the university press (EDUFU). He holds a PhD from VID Specialized University (Norway).

Specializing in religious studies, anthropology, migration, law, and biblical studies, his research focuses on migration hermeneutics, diaspora and global Pentecostalism, and the legal framework for transnational religious organizations. He has conducted extensive archival and ethnographic fieldwork within classic Pentecostal networks, including:
