Discussion of the latest report 'On Becoming A Christian' of the International Dialogue between the Papal Council for Unity Amongst Christians and representatives of the classical Pentecostal Movement. On November 30, 2007 the Professorial chair Pentecostalism and the Professorial Chair Theology of the Charismatic Renewal of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam organize a Symposium with the subject 'How do you become a Christian?´.

’On Becoming A Christian’ was the subject of the International Dialogue between the Papal Council for Unity Amongst Christians and representatives of the classical Pentecostal Movement. The report will be published shortly.

The co-chairman of this Dialogue, prof. Mel Robeck (Assemblies of God, USA), will give an introduction during the Symposium. There will be responses from the Roman Catholic Church, Protestant Church in the Netherlands and from the United Pentecostal and Gospel Churches. Among the speakers are: mgr. J. van Burgsteden, dr. P. Lens o.p., ds. B. Plaisier, P. Sleebos and drs. H. Zegwaart.

From this international dialogue, started in 1971 with Cardinal Willebrands, four reports have already been published, the last one in 1997.
